MorrisonDance receives funding from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture for their 15th anniversary performance at PlayhouseSquare!

Cleveland, OH – MorrisonDance is proud to announce their ONE NIGHT ONLY performance celebrating 15 years in Northeast Ohio. On Saturday, May 4th at 7:00pm at the Ohio Theatre at PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland’s very own award-winning dance company will share selected dances from 15 years of creativity and imagination in a ONE NIGHT ONLY performance. This unique company will take you all over the map in their dances of mythology, relationships, waiting tables, melancholy chromosomes, and humorous introspection. The evening will also premiere new choreography exploring the quirks and rhythms of neighbors and neighborhoods.

MorrisonDance has been called “zany” and “endearing” by reviewer Donald Rosenberg of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Cleveland Magazine calls Morrison’s choreography “unique moving art.” Over the last 15 years, MorrisonDance has always delivered a unique adventure of outrageous imagination, and there is always something for everyone!

MorrisonDance’s 15th anniversary performance is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.

Tickets for the May 4tt MORRISONDANCE concert at the Ohio Theatre for $15-$20 are on sale at the PlayhouseSquare Box Office; online at playhousesquare.org; or by phone at 216-241-6000
