MorrisonDance performs at Shaker Lakes, July 18th, 2014

FRIDAY, July 18 at 7:00pm  Shaker Heights Arts Council presents AHa! (At Home with the Arts)!  MorrisonDance will premiere “The Sense of Wonder” at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.  Beginning at 7 p.m. with a reception, featuring fine food and drink included in the $30 ticket price; the performances follow at 7:45 p.m. at 2600 South Park Blvd., Cleveland, OH.  Directions.

In addition to Morrison’s new choreography inspired by the environs of Shaker Lakes, there will be imaginative improvisational vignettes throughout the grounds performed by guest creators:

“Becoming the Vastness” with Fatima AbuZahrieh, Heather Baur and Hope Schultz

“Quiet Heart” with Jenni Hankey

“A Room to Myself”  with Taliesin Haugh

“Dance of the Dryads” with Sarah Morrison and Bethany Nesta Schulz

Tickets are limited for this intimate and unique engagement.  To reserve your place, please pre-purchase your tickets through the Shaker Arts Council “At Home with the Arts” on eventbrite.

If there are any tickets remaining, they may be available at the door for cash or check.  The event will take place RAIN or SHINE, please dress for weather!

MorrisonDance’s appearance in the Shaker Arts Council AhA series is a part of the MorrisonDance program “The City is Our Playground 2014” and is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, and the Rauschenberg Foundation (NYC).
