Dana Wasielewski is a graduate of Kent State University, Kent, OH with a BFA in Dance Performance, where she received the Kathryn E. Mihelick Award. She performed with the Kent Dance Ensemble, and was a recipient of the Kent Dance Ensemble Merit Award. Dana has performed at the American College Dance Festival in the Gala Concert, BFA Senior Dance Concert, Student Dance Festival and Faculty dance concerts since the beginning of her college career. In September 2014, she performed in the Playhouse Square Center Dance Showcase in Cleveland. In addition to premiering two choreographic works, “Unseen Reality” and “Perceive. Receive. Play,” Dana has performed choreography by Karen Stokes and Garth Fagan. She is a certified Level One YogaFit instructor and teaches modern dance within the Cleveland community. This is Dana’s first season with MorrisonDance.
