Dana Wasielewski is a graduate of Kent State University, Kent, OH with a BFA in Dance Performance. She was a two year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble, the pre-professional dance company at Kent. She has worked with many guest artist choreographers during her tenure which include Karen Stokes and Garth Fagan. Dana has had the opportunity to perform at the American College Dance Festival in the Gala Concert, as well as all student and faulty concerts since the beginning of her college career. She has premiered two choreographic works, “Unseen Reality” and “Perceive. Receive. Play.” She has performed at Cleveland Public Theater and various festivals in the Cleveland area with the company. She is a Teaching Artist with MorrisonDance through Center for Arts and Inspired Learning. Dana is also a Teaching Artist with Dancing Classrooms educating 5th and 8th grade classrooms on ballroom dance throughout Northeast Ohio. She is a level one certified YogaFit instructor teaching within the community. Dana is in her fourth season with MorrisonDance.
